Warp EMA Terms of Service
By opting into the Warp EMA SMS service, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Important: Participation in the study does not require you to agree to SMS messages. If you prefer, you may request to receive all study communications and assessment links via email or another method by contacting the study team.
1. Program Description
The Warp EMA SMS service is a research tool designed to facilitate Ecological Momentary Assessments (EMA). Subscribers will receive automated text messages containing unique, anonymized links to access mobile research surveys. These messages are strictly for research purposes and help participants complete scheduled study tasks. Participation in the study is not dependent on SMS enrollment; alternative communication methods are available.
2. Opt-Out Instructions
You may cancel the SMS service at any time. To stop receiving messages, reply STOP to any Warp EMA SMS message. After you send the SMS message STOP to us, we will send you a single SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. Opting out of SMS will not affect your participation in the study. You may continue to receive study communications via your preferred method.
3. Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. Depending on your mobile plan, your carrier may charge you to receive or send text messages. SympatiCog LLC. is not responsible for any costs incurred by participating in this service.
4. Support Instructions
If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program, you can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or you can get help directly by emailing or calling your study coordinator.
5. Privacy Policy
Your privacy is important to us. Information collected via this service is handled in accordance with our Warp EMA Privacy Policy. We retain your phone number only for the duration of the study, or for 30 days if the study is not completed, after which it is automatically deleted.
6. Supported Carriers
The service is available on all major US carriers. Please note that carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
